Eligibility criteria for various courses of the Colleges and Universities in Malaysia
The Colleges and Universities in Malaysia offer various Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Distant Learning and Doctoral Programmes.
For the under graduate programmes of the Colleges and Universities in Malaysia one needs to pass 3 subjects with at least C grade in the STPM (Sijil Tinggi Peresekolahan Malaysia) exam in one sitting or have a diploma from the institutions recognized by the Government of Malaysia and the Senate of the University or Clear the STAM (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysian) exam with Jayyid or any other educational qualification recognized by the senate of the University or by higher authority. The eligible candidates need to clear the Malaysian University English Test before applying to any under graduate course of the universities here and the International Students should have a minimum Senior Secondary or other higher exam Certification from the Government Recognized Schools. Either of the above scores is necessary for admission in any of the Colleges in Malaysia.
Eligibility for the Post Graduate Courses:
Having at least a bachelor degree with honors from any Higher Educational Institute by the Senate of the University Or 3 years work experience in the allied field of the Bachelors degree with Honors or any correspondent education recognized by the Senate is mandatory for admission to the Universities in Malaysia.
Eligibility for Doctoral Programmes:
A Master’s Degree from Malaysian University or any other higher educational institute recognized by the University of Senate or any equal or any higher education approved by the Senate.
