Introduction
Transport in Estonia is fairly advanced. Roads are in a good condition and traffic is fairly light. One of the main reasons could be the country’s size. Estonia is a very small country and two points in the country are never more than a few hours apart from each other. Railways do not have a fairly extensive network although they reach almost all areas in the country. Buses are the cheapest and one of the most important means of getting around. There are express bus services operated by several companies within the country. Bus services in the capital Tallinn are extensive.
Also, there are frequent services from Tallinn to popular destinations like Tartu, Parnu, etc. Euroline is the agency responsible for operating international bus services. Estonia is also connected with Latvia and Russia through railways. Domestic air travel is somewhat expensive. In the cities, a number of bus and tram services are available. Taxis are cheap and easily available.
